|When they were young, I really could not imagine dressing my sons into these “plastic-cotton” t-shirts so worldly spread. Especially irrational since I had the incredible softness of the Indian voile at hand! |
So the first style I did in the “mall mall” voile was a Kurta, basic Indian pattern of a shirt, now largely stretched to occidental moods. It has summery feel, fits boys and girls both, versatile in blending styles, bringing an “Indo” flavor to the eyes.
The neck has a hand finished contrasted colored piping, same elements on the cuff taking the shape of a rounded hem.
The fabric is soft and light, and they will adore its feel, however if you have rather rough boys like mine, they might tear it quicker that other shirts, if worn on regular days with running, fighting, pulling at the park!
So I would advise that above 4 years, try to put them when there is no hard physical activities planned!
100% cotton, 30 degrees machine wash.
